20 years of cooperation between AGH University and Shibaura Institute of Technology

Over two decades, the collaboration between AGH University of Krakow and Shibaura Institute of Technology (Tokyo, Japan) has evolved into a rich network of academic exchange, research synergy, and cultural integration.
Beginning in 2004, this partnership set forth a mutual growth and advancement trajectory deeply rooted in the shared commitment to academic excellence and technological innovation.
The cooperation includes exchange programs for academic research staff and students.

Student Exchange Programs: These programs provide students from both institutions with the chance to study abroad and experience a different academic culture.
Joint Doctoral Training: Participants can engage in a unique double degree agreement that enhances their educational breadth.
Second-Degree Studies in Energy and Environmental Engineering: Conducted under a double degree system, this program enables students to earn a Master of Science in Engineering from both AGH and Shibaura Institute of Technology upon successful thesis defense.
